The work carried out consisted of the elaboration of Local Forest Fire Prevention Plans for 11 municipalities of Tarragona, specifically the regions of Baix Camp, Baix Ebre, Priorat, Ribera d’Ebre and Terra Alta.
In compliance with the requirements of Law 6/1988 of 30 March, Forestry of Catalonia and Decree 64/1995 of 7 March, which establishes forest fire prevention measures.
Type of services provided:
- Diagnosis of the current situation of the municipality:
- Policy and socio-economic analysis
- Study of the physical environment and fire history
- Identification of prevention infrastructures, risk elements and vulnerabilities
- Identification of forest fire prevention needs and opportunities.
- Design and proposal of an action plan.
- Communication with the actors involved: Diputation, municipality, local authorities, sectoral bodies.
