Vielca is part of the 20×20 Initiative as a technical partner. This initiative, led by WRI, is an effort by Latin American and Caribbean countries to change the dynamics of land degradation in that area, seeking to restore at least 50 million hectares of forests, agricultural lands, grasslands and other landscapes by 2030. Vielca’s participation is materialized in the different working groups of the initiative.
UNIVERSIDAD POLITÉCNICA DE VALENCIA
Vielca has a collaboration agreement with the UPV to develop research projects under the protection of industrial doctorates. It is therefore a formal collaboration in which Vielca provides dedication of its employees to the development of doctoral theses, while the UPV provides material and human resources for their performance. A clear example of university-company collaboration.
